Escaped Ohio School Shooter Caught After Manhunt
A convicted teenage killer escaped from an Ohio prison along with two other inmates Thursday night, trying to elude his three life sentences.
But he was found outside a church just a few hours later on Friday morning, a mere hundred yards from the prison. Police officers had quickly set up a perimeter around the jail to keep the prisoners from getting far. When caught, 19-year-old T.J. Lane didn't say a word or put up a fight.

He broke out along with with inmates Lindsey Bruce andClifford Opperud. Authorities quickly captured Bruce, but Opperud, who is doing time for an aggravated assault, remained elusive for hours before authorities located him. All three escapees are again in custody.
Lane, who has been reprimanded seven times during his 18 months in prison for infractions such as urinating on a wall, was not in a maximum security cell. That, Warden Kevin Jones said, is "something we have to sit down and take a look at."
Schools shut down on Friday in Chardon, east of Cleveland. In the 2012 shooting, Lane fired off 10 shots in a local high school while waiting for a bus to take him to an alternative school he attended.
During Lane's trial, he pulled off a blue button-down shirt to reveal a white T-shirt with the word "killer" inscribed in black across his chest. He reportedly wore a similar shirt the day he went on his rampage.
Lane's expression was blank for much of the trial, except for when he smirked and smiled as his victims' families testified against him. At one point he turned to the families and uttered a string of profanity.
The teenager has never offered an explanation for why he went on a shooting spree.
